A State Standard Living Will is a legal document that allows you to opt-out of life-sustaining treatment, including artificially supplied nutrition and hydration, if you are unable to make informed medical decisions and are in a permanently unconscious state. This does not affect the responsibility of health care personnel to provide comfort care to you. You can also choose whether or not you would like to have your organs donated.

There is also an enhanced Living Will that is offered at Donald Law Office. This Living Will is much more detailed. For example, if you wish to donate organs, you can specify if you prefer them to go to your family first or even if you prefer them to be donated to medical research. You also get to specify all of your living preferences should you need to go into a nursing home. These preferences are extremely detailed. For example, you can specify the exact foods you wish to eat, what restaurants you would like to eat at, and how often you would like to go out to eat. You can specify how often you wish to go outside, visit your family, or go to the theater. You can specify certain types of books you wish to read and specify certain genres and authors. You can state how often you wish to watch television and which channels you so desire to watch. The enhanced living will allows you to specify exactly what you desire.
